The 2009 Electric Dreams Roadshow has been a great success for us, so you'll all be glad that we will be continuing the 80s Roadshow in Douglas in 2010, kicking off on Saturday January 2nd with a tribute to Michael Jackson. See our event page for more.

This December, as well as all the very best in live music, the East Village has 2 bumper 80s Christmas parties! We will be going back to when He-man, Barbie and Scaletrix was on the wish list for a lot of us and to when some of the World's most talented singers and groups got together to make Band Aid! It's 80s jingles all the way on Saturday December 5th and 19th. See you there!

We are delighted to announce that this Christmas and New Year, we will be bringing Electric Dreams onto the ice. Cork On Ice starts on November 13th in the Munster Showgrounds and runs until January 17th and we will be involved in what will be Ireland's biggest "On Ice" event this year. A very big thanks to all who came to our 80 summer Club Tropicana party at the Village. Everyone had a great night and boogied the night away to the 80s anthems being banged out by resident DJ Simon Murdoch.

We are delighted to announce our new night in association with the East Village Bar & Resturant in Douglas. It seems the people of Cork 'just can't get enough' 80s madness so why not pop out to the Village. The first Saturday of the month is the time and we will have loads of stuff happening on the night. We kick off our events with a summer themed Club Tropicana Party and later in the year expect A Back to School Party and Xmas parties.
