If you missed NAVI last year you missed one of the best nights ever. Not only a tribute to MJ but a reincarnation, NAVI is the world's best Michael Jackson act. He looks, sounds and more importantly dances so much like the real thing he was used by the Jackson estate as a decoy for the man himself. So good he even danced for Michael at this 45th birthday and now you can experience it too. Do not miss it. | Hard to believe it had been 2 years since we first started a small 80s night in the Savoy back in 2008. To celebrate, we had 80s Superstars Go West playing live and what a birthday we had! On top of the special live performace we had loads of giveways and played all the most requested songs of the past two years to a full house who were in great form and voice. It's citizens on patrol on Friday March 5th as we pay homage to the men and women of 80s law enforcement in our Police Academy Party. We will have Police Academy merchandise to give away and will have Europe's No.1 80s coverband, Spring Break, playing live. We will have a special law enforcement version of ED TV on the big screens and you have to do is decide if you're gonna dress up as a cop or robber??? Prizes for best costumes on the night. |

| February, the love month, saw a return for our annual Hart To Hart Valentine's Ball. The Savoy Theatre was transformed into a love haven for the night and we played all the best love/romantic themed 80s hits along with extra slow sets just so the 1000 people in attendance could get closer to their loved one or potential loved one! | 20 years on from the end of the 80s, we kicked off our yearlong celebration of the 80s by going back to where it all began... 1980. We had the usual mix of great 80s hits with the added bonus of all the chart shakers from the year 1980. We introduced our new Electric Dreams TV which showed all the major events, music and culture from 1980. Great crowd despite the horrific weather too!! |

| Ho ho holy Christmas party Batman! Two full houses for our office Christmas parties and plenty of good cheer and goodwill. | The start of our permanent return to the Savoy saw 600 loyal 80s fans brave the wind and rain for what was the perfect relaunch for Electric Dreams. Moonwalker Party with Navi - If you weren't here, you missed out on the show of the year! Navi, the World's No.1 Michael Jackson impersonator, brought back memories of Pairc Ui Chaoimh '88, with one of the most surreal shows you could ever imagine to see. His likeness, in both imagery and dancing, is astonishing! He sang and danced though hits like Billy Jean, Thriller and Man in the Mirror and even had people crying at his very touch! Spiel - Our return to the Savoy saw 350 join us for our big summer 80s special.We had 300 free leis' handed our by our two beautiful hula girls from Lockdown Models, gave away 250 Mr.Freeze' and 100 80s summer mixtapes and rocked the night away like it was the Summer of 69! A new venue for Electric Dreams and a possible new home (Check our home page for updates on this!!). Over 250 people rocked the Mardyke for our Dallas party on one of the quietest weekends of the year. Cowboy hats were worn with aplomb and our bucking bronco went down a storm.... YeeHaw! We didn't get to find out who shot JR but we did give away box sets so you could and we also gave away concert tickets for Rod Stewart and Simple Minds. It's hard to theme every night... a normal run of the mill ED saw our first sell-out crowd and all before 12.30am. Thanks to everyone who made this Electric Dreams the best one so far and to those who were disappointed they couldn't get in (nearly 400 of ye... wow) try and be a little earlier next time round. We gave away two more sets of tickets for Cyndi Lauper (now only two weeks away) tickets to our best dressed customers and we were delighted to see so many people dressed up and having a good night. There was a lady all the way over from England to hang out with her buddies having a Hen night, there were members of the Examiner, 3/4 hen and stag parties and about a dozen work nights out...... all bopping like crazy to the greatest 80s anthems on the planet. Huge turn out again, breaking all our records thus far. The two rooms were hopping with a little help from the King of Pop... MJ himself. As a tribute to MJ we played a few extra MJ tracks and dressed up... plus we had loads of CDs and DVD's to giveaway (by right they should have been cassettes and videos) of his albums, live tour, history and feature film Moonwalker. Loads of ye dressed up and we gave away the reaming Summer Mix CDs to anyone feeling the winter cold coming on... plus 100 free shots to the first 100 people through the door. On top of that we announced Cyndi Lauper was coming in mid-October as well as giving away two sets of tickets for the performance which will also have an Electric Dreams after-party. Main room looked amazing and thanks to the many people who passed on good wishes and praise. Heard the pre-party in Sober Lane was rocking and from all accounts will be going all out for the next time around. For those who dressed up we handed out a Free Mixtape, the first 100 in the door got a free 'Electric Pop' shot, we handed out 500 free Leis and 350 free Mr Freezes (some people looked at us funny when we were handing them out).
